Please note this is not a full kit – but if you have a kit already, such as the old standard kit, then you can use this o ring groove fitting for exhausts with a different shaped barrel end to those that are suitable to the old standard kit. However, please check the dimensions shown in the picture to make sure this fitting is what you need before ordering. This fitting does not include the sealing plate or pump connector. 

The O Ring groove fitting holds onto the exhausts o ring groove instead of the back of the flange. The O Ring Groove fitting was designed because the old Standard Kit will not fit some exhausts for the following reasons, either; the flange is too long, the back of the flange has weld instead of a flat shoulder or the smaller diameter behind the flange is larger than 46mm.

Note – To use the O Ring Groove Fitting, you will need to remove the O Ring that is furthest away from the end of your exhaust.

This fitting is intended for exhausts that you will commonly find on bikes such as Beta and Sherco 2019 onwards, however you will need to have the correct silencer end fitting for the exhaust you are intending to repair. Please check any exhausts match the dimensions shown in the picture before you order.

 

Please note,

Using water pressure to remove dents from a 2 stroke expansion chamber is effective but it is not an exact science.   A 2 stroke expansion chamber is designed and manufactured to be exactly that, it is not designed to be filled with pressurised water. This kit is intended to make it easier for someone who wants to use water pressure to straighten an exhaust/2 stroke expansion chamber.

The Hydraforce blow out kit is a precision engineered tool, designed to seal each end of your exhaust under pressure. It is machined in the UK from brass and carbon steel.
